Kart Shipping

Below
is an explanation of how your go kart will be delivered.
|
| Our
go karts are shipped common carrier, which means they will be delivered
by a tractor trailer. It is desirable to have your kart delivered
to a commercial address if possible. The crate is 8' long and 4'
wide, so a loading dock would make unloading easier. The crate
can be unloaded from the semi into the bed of a pickup truck. You
will need at least four men to lift the 250 lb. crate. The pictures
below show unpacking of a go kart at our shop. |

Important Shipping and Receiving

Please Read

We offer a 30 day parts exchange
warranty. Return any defective parts to Metro and we will send a
replacement.

When your kart has been shipped,
we will contact you will a tracking # and and shipping company with expected
arrival date.

You cannot cancel an order after
the kart has been shipped.

Important - Check the crate
for damage before the driver leaves. If there is damage, the freight
company that delivered your kart is responsible. We do not ship damaged
crates. If there is damage, contact the freight company immediately
to file a claim.

International Shipping will
be coordinated with the customer. Shipping for a crate this size
can typically be 50% of the cost of the kart and will be paid in advance
by the customer.

Serial
Number Placard: A serial number
placard will be included in the shipping packet attached to the crate.
Save the placard to install on your go kart. |

Disassemble
Crate: Remove the plastic, pry off
the ends of the crate and with larger karts it will be necessary to remove
the top and sides as well. |

|
Remove
Tie Downs: You will need to remove
a two large tie down straps located on the front and rear axles before
rolling the kart out of the crate. |

|
| Getting
the Kart Ready to Roll: After removing
your kart from the crate, carefully read all safety instructions and the
engine manual included. Remember the kart is shipped with no gas
in the tank and no oil in the engine crankcase, so be sure to add
oil before trying to start the engine. |
