| Archer Petroleum Company of Omaha sold its products in Midwestern states before and after the war. Archer Petroleum of Omaha began in the 1920's, producing high-quality oil for use in aircraft engines. In 1929, Archer introduced quality lubricants for farmers, who soon found that an oil made to withstand the extra heat and strain of aircraft engines lasted longer and protected their farm equipment better than conventional oils. |
