| Dodge Brothers - Detroit machinists John and Horace Dodge, after supplying parts for Henry Ford for several years, began manufacturing automobiles for the low price market in 1914. Dodge Brothers cars were a leading competitor for Ford. In 1928 Walter P. Chrysler bought the company, and around 1930 the Dodge Bothers name was dropped. |
